Welcome to my home on the World Wide Web, and welcome to my home in the Southern Blue Ridge Mountains. I am a Native of this area, and have dedicated my life to the study of Nature, particularly Nature in the Blue Ridge. I love to work with people who want to get to know the Natural world of my home, and hope you will join me one day for a walk in the woods and fields of the Wild Blue Ridge. You can reach me at [email protected].

I use a number of books for reference in my ramblings through the Mountains. If you need any of these, just click on the link: it'll take you straight to that book on Amazon.com. Click here.

There are many wonderful trails in this area. I have listed a few here that might be of interest to area visitors. These are some of my favorite trails, and you just might see me on them. Just look for a guy that favors Grizzly Adams, with reddish hair, and a white beard. Click here for trails.

Bird Watching is also a wonderful pastime, and there are some great places to go. I have listed just a few here. My trails page lists some places that are also good for birding. Click here for good birding sites.

I have put together a snake identification section of the common snakes of the Southeast. Click here.

I have collected some links in my browsing on the Net. Let me share them with you.
